This thread makes no sense. It's like saying 2% milk is $3.10 in my area. A.) It has nothing to do with an RX-8, hence it shouldn't be in the RX-8 Discussion forum. B.) You don't say anything else as to what area you live in. It just doesn't make any sense.

Less than that at Costco but you have to buy more than one gallon at a time. I think it was like $2.55 for regular with lines of ten cars at each pump.

There is an excess of gasoline as vacation driving season is over. Oil companies can't shift to producing heating oil this early in the season as not everyone has purchased their winter supply yet. Can't lower the price of heating oil until no one needs to buy it.

Where is the Costco that has the gas station around Portland? I don't think it's near me. The closest Costco to me is in Clackamas and they don't have a gas station. Might be worth a try if it isn't too far out of my way.

2% is 2 gallons for $4 at Costco. Does not make any sense to me either. You should not be putting milk in your RX8 even if it is cheaper than gas.

North Wilsonville at the I5 exit where Burns Brothers used to be. I think it is generic gas and the lines get long on weekends are two downsides to buying there.

Friday Sept 22 at 7:35PM, Regular at the Pillips 66 in Sherman Texas was $2.03, Premo (I filled) was $2.23.

I did some cruising this AM (Saturday) with more then the usual time spent above 6000 RPM.

Stopped by the Phillips Fuel distributor this AM and he said the next batch of TT105 would be $205 (a barrel) so I ordered one. My current barrel is empty. The last barrel was $325. I don't use it in the RX8 very often it's for another car that has high compression.

You live at the other end of the pipeline. moRotorMotor is right, gas prices are very regional topics and not RX8 generic. But a station owner decided to go out in style by selling out his remaining stock at $1.49 in Philadelphia and that made national news last night.

Oh, okay. My stepsister's husband works at that Costco. He's some sort of manager there. According to the location search, that Costco is supposedly closer to my house but it is a completely odd route to get there and in the opposite direction from anywhere I ever have to go. LOL

91 octane just went down to 3.05 here. We have the highest gas prices in the nation from what I hear. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Be sure to fill before the November elections. An economist I saw on TV said that the current low prices are just another off the book contribution to the incumbent party.

$3.10 for 2% milk! Outrageous! Was that for a 1/2 gallon or a whole?

Until premium is under $2 I think we are still paying to much. Just my opinion

Milk: 1.99/gallon
Gas: 2.35/gallon
Carbon nano-tubes 22k/gram
I would hate to have a car that ran on CNT.
That would be $798,314/gallon, and $11,415,890 to fill up.

vlol!

Ya I read that too. But I assume people will fill up a few times before then.

I wish I had a 5000 gallon storage tank. That would save some money on gas.
