Gas Prices

This thread makes no sense. It's like saying 2% milk is $3.10 in my area. A.) It has nothing to do with an RX-8, hence it shouldn't be in the RX-8 Discussion forum. B.) You don't say anything else as to what area you live in. It just doesn't make any sense.

There is an excess of gasoline as vacation driving season is over. Oil companies can't shift to producing heating oil this early in the season as not everyone has purchased their winter supply yet. Can't lower the price of heating oil until no one needs to buy it.

Friday Sept 22 at 7:35PM, Regular at the Pillips 66 in Sherman Texas was $2.03, Premo (I filled) was $2.23.
I did some cruising this AM (Saturday) with more then the usual time spent above 6000 RPM.
Stopped by the Phillips Fuel distributor this AM and he said the next batch of TT105 would be $205 (a barrel) so I ordered one. My current barrel is empty. The last barrel was $325. I don't use it in the RX8 very often it's for another car that has high compression.

$3.10 for 2% milk! Outrageous! Was that for a 1/2 gallon or a whole?

Milk: 1.99/gallon
Gas: 2.35/gallon
Carbon nano-tubes 22k/gram
I would hate to have a car that ran on CNT.
That would be $798,314/gallon, and $11,415,890 to fill up.
vlol!
