Why would they reccommend Premiem unless they knew somehting we didnt....duh...simple as this...it runs cleaner....DUH!!! Unless u want GUNK 70k down the line.

Been using 87 in my -8 since I got it. Runs perfectly fine; no worries/issues. I'll fill up with just about any reputable station's gasoline (I don't go to the discounters, as bad gas from a local one killed a fuel pump of mine on another vehicle many years ago).
But for me, there was no noticeable difference (whether in mileage or performance) between 93, 91, 88, or 87 grade, so I stick with 87.
