Getting married; How do I dress up the 8 for that "Just Married" look?

I'm getting married on Sunday June 17 and I need some ideas about how to have my groomsmen dress up the car with stuff to get that "just married" look. The 8 will be our getaway car. Since my car is white it should look just right parked out front.

I know another member got married and had an 8 convoy, I'm curious to know how his car was dressed up too.

BTW they are threatening to use 3M double sided tape to hold down the bows and ribbons!

I would go stealth with a small sign.

Congrats!

Well the only real way to dress it up would be with bridesmaids attached to it...

Outside of that..."GET AWAY CAR" on the back would be a nice touch...

Either way...take pics and post em...esp with the bridesmaids...haa

"Just Married"

Put a sign on the back that says "FOR SALE". Maybe you can trade it in for an MPV minivan! LOL Just kidding. Congrats on the upcoming wedding.

When I got married (six years ago, yikes!), I had a Miata we used as the getaway car. We got pelted with puffed rice and I was still picking it out of the interior a few years ago when I sold it. Our idiot guests didn't realize you were supposed to take it out of the container and pelted us with full packets, too.

It started raining and I had to stop at a light to throw up the top in my tux, and my wife's dress was so big I had to keep stuffing it under the dash. We got some great pictures, though, and the look of the kid in the BK drivethru was priceless.

If you have prankster guests, use somebody else's car as a getaway. You don't want to have to wash your car before you head off on your honeymoon.

Here you go, V8 dressed up for the wedding. Oh, you said RX8.

Nevermind. My wife's V8, 0-60 in 6.1 14.9 1/4 mile and only weighs twice as much as my car :P

Thanks for all the suggestions. I think I will follow up on the wash twice and wax advice. I'll be having one of my groomsmen do the work. I think I'll have him do the interior too!

I think dragging oil cans would be too much of an insiders joke but I'm laughing just thinking about it!

CORNERS - I think your story is great! Sounds like it was fun. I'm looking forward to the wedding and a great party.

Oh and naked bridesmaid are outta the question.

I'll post my pics once I get back from the honeymoon!

Did you say "RX-8" and "wedding"? You've gotta check this one out:

Do something similar and post it on YouTube for us to see.
