RotorMotor is correct, it's the chrome ring around the grill. What I don't understand about this accessory, if you get the appearance package, you supposedly can't get the grill trim ring? Apparently there's some incapability there, but they don't bother explaining why.

Definitely wait for aftermarket products.. This is how dealers make the real money, it's not cars sold, it's service, maintenance and accessories.

the same goes for the front mud guards, I think they might look good with the rest of the appearance pkg.?

I understand why the mud guards are incompatible. The "rear mud guard" is fitted in the same place as the "rear aero flare" of the appearance package.

Now to split hairs, you just need to convince your Mazda dealer to give you the "front mud guard" only, then you are set with the rest of the appearance package!! rofl..!

i don't understand that myself...in the brochure it says that the grille trim ring

"cannot be used with front air dam and automatic transmission"
i wonder what that's all about? if you go to the Virtual Body Shop, it allows you to place both the front air dam and the grille trim ring...

must have something to do with the placement of a transmission cooler and air flow.
