Hey everybody! I'm Jen I love this site, I have found so much useful and fun information here, and all of you seem awesome! I have been lurking here for quite a while and finally got my '09 MT Crystal White Pearl Sport in the middle of June. I'm 23 now, but I remember when I was graduating high school in '04 that I wanted an 8 soooo bad. So, after going through a '91 Nissan Maxima and a '01 Mercedes C320 I finally have my baby! I freaking love it!

Now here's the shitty thing that happened to me... two weeks ago some jerk that I work with slammed on the gas and backed right into the front of my car I was behind him at a stop sign, he saw one of our coworkers coming out of the building and wanted to talk to him, so didn't even look behind him and just popped into reverse and slammed on the gas in the blink of an eye. He was in a Land Rover, and I couldn't even open the driver's side door when I went to get out. To add insult to injury, the bastard didn't even apologize! (yes, I WORK with him in a 12 person office.) I was unbelievably heartbroken over this, but thankfully I am getting my baby back today. Found the best body shop I could and they have done an amazing job. While at the shop got my badges painted satin black, wheels same color will follow (among other stuff - suggestions welcome!). Here's a pic of my car right after I got it and pics from the accident, I will post new ones after I pick her up tonight! I also need to take pics of myself WITH the 8

That's a good looking 8, besides the damage. I hope you get it all sorted out. I have black badges on my car as well, and was thinking about painting the wheels. Let's see photos when it gets back from the shop.

Welcome... Sorry to hear about the car. I don't think a could have kept as level of a head as you I give you credit for that. there's just more and more careless drivers these days.
