Got My Red Today, Thanks for the help
After 8 months of reading everyone getting their new RX-8 , finally got mine today ! 04' Velocity Red, apperance , and they had installed aftermarket leather red/black seats in them . Truely a awesome car ! I know why you all are so proud of your car ! Want to thank EVERYONE that has posted . Many things posted on here helped getting my car . Did it through the internet , got it for $1500 below invoice , no hassles what so ever . So if you are looking in the Dallas area , go talk to Wayne Sharp at Freeman Mazda in Irving . Guy is good ! I flew in from Amarillo Texas to buy this car , he was very honest and upfront about everything . It's my first time to ever buy a car , and I have to say , the experience was awesome ...driving it off the lot , was even more thrilling . Thanks to everyone on here for all the help and for the help in the future ! DrR

WOO HOO!!! Got mine today too. Winning Blue (base w/CD changer). Been waiting 24 years for my Rotary. Almost bought RX7 in 1980 from Freeman when I lived in Dallas. Bought a 10th Anniversary 280Z instead and been wanting an RX ever since. Paid $1350 below invoice in my home town, Tyler. I echo the sentiments of DrR, THANKS !! RX-8 Club for all the helpful info. I am RX-static about my new ride!!

Rob , I didn't realize , HOW beautiful the red is , till I got up close to it . Seems to me to have a pearl effect in the paint , or a sparkle , something in it . When I first wanted one , I thought I wanted a Winning Blue , and when I made the deal for the red and saw it , glad I did !

MedicineMan , isn't it a blast to drive , even though still breaking it in? I can't wait for the magical 600 miles so I can feel the power above 4000 rpm ! It was worth the wait . Enjoy the ride
