I got my windows tinted over the holidays, and they are great! I went to Solar Eclipse by the Mall of Georgia to have it done. I got the Huper-Optik Ceramic 30%. The heat reduction is incredible. It hit 70 in Atl yesterday, and with the sun directly on my drivers window I couldn't feel the heat. Roll down the window and my face was baking.

Very pleased with the shop and would recommend it to anyone in Atl wanting tint.

I'll try to take some this weekend. I wanted to have it all washed up first, but now it looks like rain here this weekend.

 

How much did it cost, if I may ask? Also, in general how much does a good tint cost. What kind of tint is best? On second thought, anyone know where to go to learn more about available tinting options.


Is 30% illegal?

 

I tinted my 8 with 5% limo tint. Had California Concepts do it. They wanted $375 but I argued them down to $250. They did an awesome job, no bubbling or anything. Not legal though, so have to be careful rolling down windows near cops
