Great Quality Videos I made: Rotary Performance Super CAT (before and After)

Here for your viewing pleasure, the before and after videos of my car (stock and then with the RP Supercat installed) as you can see if gives it a more "throatier" sound, and im sure frees up a few horses.

Caution: both videos are around 14MB in size (yes WMV format) oh well.

Enjoy!

yeah -- to get the FULL effect of the Supercat you kinda gotta be there in person. But trust me its noticably deeper then stock in an excellent way

I really like your new sound! In the vid, the stock sound was tinny and shrill, the SuperCAT is throaty and defined, sounds of the rotary come through

Yummie! How's the sound on the highway, louder, different?

Very classic Chainsaw Rotary! It's pretty cool to me, but ithink most people don't like that sound. (Piston people that is)

I believe we call those people "the normals"

Actually even though I love the rotary in the 8, I still prefer the engine in my last car, a BMW M3 (3.2L I6)

I agree - the sound brings a grin to my face, and to hell with what piston'ers think, I love having the "chainsaw" under my hood or as others might hear it a "jet engine"

I can't wait to see what it sounds like when I get my Racing Beat Exaust

My only fear is sounding like a ricer -- but I don't think that shall be a problem, 1) because its a rotary, its DESIGNED to sound like that, 2) we actually have power to back up the sound, 3) it wont sound like a weedeater or wet farts into a coffee can.

holy crap! whoever said that doesn't sound good must have been jealous. If that were stock there would be so much more RX8s on the roads.

i think supercat needs to be paired with a deep sounding exhaust to make it perfect.

A little biased I see. Sounds good though with the stock exhaust and it still gives it that sleeper.

Was the car warmed up? I think it wont be as tinny when its warmed up, but it sounds very good, def get a deeper sounding exhuast to make it perfect
