Greetings

Just want to say hello to the forum. I have been lurking here as a guest for a while after I bought my 8. I have learned a lot of good info here, Thanks!

I was going to buy a 71 240Z but I had forgotten how harsh the Z was when I drove one a couple of months ago. The 8 is much nicer/faster/comfortable and it holds my kids....a concession to my better half.

om-nc is the result of my 17yo son who coined the phrase Old Man-New Car. He will drive the 8 to school one day this week while I travel for business. KEEP YOUR FOOT OUT OF IT!!! I am sure he will read this.

I may try to come to Deal's gap get together. It is only about 3.5 hours away and I drove by there last week.

Stay Safe

Paul

Hope to see you at the meet, Paul. My daughter is 15 and we both enjoy the RX-8 very much. Shes always there when I wash and wax, helping in any way she can. She'll be coming with me to challenge the Dragon.

Once she learns how to use, and is comfortable with a clutch, I too will probably let her take it out from time to time. I can't imagine experiencing the thrill of driving the RX-8 and not sharing that experience with my daughter.

Only mods planned right now are mine, suspension, probably full kit from MS, sirius, homelink and the front mudguards. I already have the aero kit and dam. He would like to have the MS front end..hmmmm

Hey Paul..

erm... Dad.....

And HI to everyone else as well

As for the mods, I don't want to see ANY mods with apperance (cept MS front end) because I am a big fan of the sleeper.

You can ask me what sleeper means next time we talk dad
