Home invasion robbery in North Burnaby
May 03 2006
Burnaby RCMP are searching for the suspect in a home invasion robbery Tuesday morning in north Burnaby.
At about 9 a.m. a man armed with a black handgun broke into a home in the 300-block of Esmond Avenue and demanded cigarettes and money from a female resident who did not know the suspect, say police.
The man grabbed a laptop computer, two cell phones and some jewelry before asking the woman how to get upstairs in the house. He headed to the stairs and was trying to kick the upstairs door open when a male resident upstairs grabbed the suspect’s arm through the partially-opened door. With his other hand, the male resident grabbed a knife and then lunged at the suspect.
That was enough to scare off the suspect, who fled by jumping into a silver Mazda RX-8.
No one was seriously injured in the incident.
The suspect is described as Caucasian, six feet tall, 180 pounds, with brown hair and wearing a black ball cap, black leather jacket, black gloves and jeans. The vehicle is believed to have been stolen in Vancouver earlier that day.
Anyone with any information on the incident is asked to call Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7922 or, to remain anonymous, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

I agree -- I would have slammed the guys hand in the door several times and then gone to work on him. All I know is if anyone every breaks into my house, once I have them down let's just say if I didn't kill them from use of a personal handgun... I'd wait a little bit before calling the cops *winks* and give my boys *flexes arms* a little workout on the piece of ****'s face
Yes I'm from texas, yes I love guns, and yes if you break into my house you will pay the ultimate price

I would have laughed so hard if he jumped into the RX-8 and it flooded while he tried to get away or how it crashed because it was silver. I can picture him in jail talking to his fellow inmates about how they all got busted.

Sunlight Silver is a hipnautical color known to cause males inner glutics cortecule spasmo-matri to de-sensatize at a fraction the time it takes the females same glutics to react to the same color spectrum. And it stands to reason why the male tends to be suseptibal of such a crime.....when I cruise Houston I tend to ride my S.S 8 around groups of females much longer at a specific time interval then repeat the same series of passes until, walla, chicks are all over my car and me
