Had a bad day

So yesterday I got my Audiolink Ipod connector and I set it up with my friend. Felt all good that I got to do it and did it right. So then about 2 hours later my car in Park has this bad rumbling noise coming from under neath the car. So this morning my stepdad drove the car to our friend's bodyshop and on the way there the car stopped. He was in the middle of the highway.

Ugh, what a bad day for my 8. Does any1 know what it could be. Cus my stepdad wants 2 blame me for the rumbling, becuase of my ipod install, which is ridiculous.

Keep in mind, I just got this car 2 weeks ago (rebuilt) so anything can happen, I just dont know what and it would make me feel more secure if i did.

BTW: The car was towed to the bodyshop from the highway.

I don't think the iPod thing would cause that stuff to happen but I don't really know that it couldn't. It just seems unlikely.

Get her in to our dealer they have a big recall and I bet you can score a free new engine, Cat, plugs, fillup and maybe an oil change!

The most you could have done with the iPod install would be drain the battery... and that wouldn't cause it to just stop on the highway. Maybe if he in stop and go traffic with the AC on high... Doesn't explain the rumbling noise though.

Unless you mounted the IPOD cradle under the hood.

I'm pretty sure that would just give you 10 more horsepower.
