Happy 40k-km Birthday!
My beautiful '05 black RX-8 ("Eliza") has just had its 40,000 km birthday.
For its birthday, it got new spark plugs, new transmission oil (Redline MT90), new diff oil (Redline 75W90), and new coolant.
I also spent a couple of hours detailing the interior and took apart the steering wheel to fix a rattle that had been annoying me for over a year (which I thought was coming from the gauges, but was coming from the air bag module).
She runs like a dream, it might be me but I feel like she's revving faster and responding quicker, and everything's perfect except her outside is rainy and dirty
I'd like to personally thank every RX8club poster for their valuable advice and for being one of the best car communities around. Compared to other boards full of ricers, jerks, and morons, this board is a mecca of quality posting (and hilarious Alfy mspaints).
Here's to hopefully at least another 40,000 km before the engine explodes and I curse its name!

Just under 25K miles...you must have a second car, take public transit or just not drive. I have an '05 with only 35,700 miles, but I have a second car which I put more miles on.

Now if it would just stop raining for a few days so I could wash and wax the damned thing!
There's hose nozzles in my underground parking... do you think i could wash my car in there without anyone complaining?
