yes i am. my rx8 is not heavily modded power wise.

aem intake.
turboxs headerback.
cobb ap stage 1 map.

the weird thing is, i feel like i have 2 dips in power. its not linear. i know one is right around 6500rpm. i believe thats the secondary intakes opening, right? its pretty damn noticeable though.

Could be the VFAD for one of those dips?

Check Kane's MAF scaling thread, there's a procedure for load MAF scaling.

Hah. I'll claim illiteracy thank you very much.

I only know of one dip, and that's the VFAD for me. Can't imagine any other reasons for dips...

However, I remember seeing an old RX-8 dyno where there were two dips (at around 3000 and 6000 rpms). I'll try to find that graph .

kersh4w.. the Cobb map is not supposed to be used with an aftermarket intake for that very reason.

your maf needs to be scaled.

ahhh. that makes sense. i thought they use the same diameter piping though?
