Unhappy Hard Start!

Yesterday, after drivng at least 15 miles, I parked in the driveway. I then washed the car. This morning, I did some detailing, and washed the wheels.
When I went to start, the engine cranked, but no start... an odd thing - when I would stop holding the key, the needles on the gauges would sweep over to the right, and then off.
I didn't have the hard start protocol memorized, but I did remember to give it full gas. It still didn't start, and in fact, stopped cranking, just a clicking starter noise. I went inside to re-read my TSB, and I realized I did not try again w/o gas after the cranking with the gas pedal depressed. So I went out, and I attached an electric battery charger in case the battery was getting a bit low, got in, turned the key, and viola! it started right up. No smoke, only slightly revving, and it settled down nicely in a minute or two. phew! My TSC and DSC off lights stayed on. After a minute of drving the DSC off light went out, but the TSC stayed on. When I finally had the courage to shut down, and restart, it was fine - no lights (DSC or TSC) and started great.
I wonder what got into it???

Check your trunk and make sure when detailing it did not get shut but not locked. before that open pass thru and see if trunk light is on. Sounds like you may have had a low battery problem
