Have any late model 2005s Flooded?

So far only three more reports of flooding in cars with the new PCM-update/battery/starter/plugs. That brings the total to 4.

Build date of July/05, picked up the car at the end of January. I've yet to experience hard starting or flooding, including several instances where the car was moved around the driveway. When I visited the dealer several days before delivery, it was in the service area with the hood up and the engine shield off. I assume they were flashing and doing all the stuff they should have done in 2003. It has roared to life every time (crossing fingers as I will likely pay someday for my foolish optimism).

2004 06/03 build/up-to-date flash. No problems with flooding. Recenty tested the flooding propensity. After being in a Wisconsin unheated garage - temp approx. 20 - 25F - backed it out of the garage and immediately shut off. It started right up! (of course, now that I've said this, the next time I try this and I REALLY need to get somewhere, it will be a total flood!!!)

Bump.
It has been three months now and the only incidents of flooding (in cars with all 4 starting improvements) that I have found are listed above.
It appears that the updates really do drastically reduce the chance of flooding.
Side note: MEGAREDS was told by his dealer that Mazda will do all 4 updates under warranty at customer request.

- let the car warm to normal operating temp or for 5 minutes

- let go back to idle
- shut off.
There is extended debate on this forum as to whether to shut off while the engine is winding down from 3K. Do a SEARCH, if you are interested in details.
If your engine has warmed up then Mazda says that no special action is needed.
FWIW. Not everyone abides by the Mazda recommendations.

I haven't had any flooding issues yet, although my 05/2005 mt only has 1100 miles on it at this point. I am having a problem with a stumbling / hesitation at 6500 RPM. It'll even do it just dead revving the engine slowly.
