Straight guys aren't allowed to name their cars.*

*If your girlfriend, wife, mother, aunt, niece, female co-worker or sister names it, that's okay. (Guy Code, Rule 17.3.b)

Hmm, I must have missed that section of the code. But, all is good as Roxanne was named by a close female freind.

Thought about naming it when I got it a few weeks ago...Rex and Roxy are obvious, but don't seem to fit for me. Vader is cool - but mine isn't black....would have to black for that to work. (Silver). Guess I will keep calling it "my car" till something sticks or someone suggests something better.

and sorry - "dickwad's car" has been suggested, but didn't care for that one either....

Probably b'cuz of my age, I just can't bring myself to give it a name. In fact, I am so understated, I usually refer to it as "the Mazda." If I'm talking to someone who doesn't know what I drive, they just don't know what it is from the conversation. But should they eventually SEE it, I get a comment like: "That's your MAZDA?"

Of course, other people name it for me: "mid-life crisis" car, "chick-magnet" car (yeah, right) or often just "nice ride"...or in Texas "nauce raud." It's all good.

ALL RIGHT, YOU MAGGOTS! PRAY!

This is my RX8!

There are many like it, but this one is MINE!

My RX8 is my best friend. It is my life!

I must master it as I must master my life!

My RX8 without me is useless. Without my RX8, I am useless!

I must drive my RX8 fast!

I must drive my RX8 faster than my enemy who is trying to take the fast lane!

I must dust him before he dusts me. I will...

I will ever guard it against the ravages of weather and damage!

I will keep my RX8 clean and ready, even as I am clean and ready!

We will become part of each other. We will...

Before God I swear this creed!

Jorge are u going to Celebration 2007 and/or marching in this year's Rose Parade?
It's going to be a Star Wars extravaganza, from what I've heard.

I don't name my computer or my washing machine, for they are appliances. I have named some cars but not others. My gun, my johnson, my car, and my house all have names. (I own a historic house, my last house wasn't named). I'm straighter than your daddy was.

Anyway, Jedi, as promised, pics of my interior:

My white 8 reminds me of the Mach 5 from Speed Racer, but "mach" anything sounds like a new kind of razor. So her name is Trixie.
