Headlight moisture.
OK, so I went ahead and got the moisture out of my tailight, but my drivers side headlight gets moisture collected into it also. I can't use the method I used for my tailight because the headlight doesn't have a gasket like the tailight. Does anyone know a way to fix this problem? I found this thread here:
https://www.rx8club.com/forum/showth...light+moisture
Has anyone else tried this?

If your car still has the bumper to bumper warranty, and you show the service tech that, they will replace that headlight. I had mine replaced for corrosion...now they are nice and shiny!

Well I spent a few hours the other day removing my front bumper and trying the method used from the thread in my original post, but had no luck. The moisture is still there. I was gonna try baking the headlights to reseal them, but there are so many wires and removing the HID ballast and all that I didn't want to risk damaging my headlight at the cost of $1200 for a new one. So what I am getting at is...No one knows anyway to fix this problem???

I'm not a mechanic, but I saw a guy drill two tiny holes in the back taillights of an rx8, then use a $5 can of compresed air with the tiny tube to dry out the inside of the tail light. This same technique might work on the front lights. The only thing is that you probably need to find something to plug the wholes with after so no additiional moisture gets in. no guarantees it will work so be careful.

ebay headlight FTW!!!!
or
drill a little hole...
Mine collects a little moisture here and there but everytime it just evaporates with no traces that it was ever there. Give it a day or two and see what happens.
