Heat issue

So my heat doesnt work and I will be going to the dealership(4th time) tomorrow. I checked the fuse and it was fine then somehow fiddling with the **** my father got it to work then it stopped again. Any idea what it could be and if I really need to keep it there? I really dont want to I am only going back because its on warranty still. Any ideas?

Yup...you have the heater control issue, but since you are under warranty, you might as well go to the dealership. Keep us posted as to what they do. If I am not mistaken, I don't think they will repair the bad solder and will replace the whole unit instead.

If you weren't under warranty, I'd definitely try the DIY because you would get raped by a dealership to fix it. Worked for me and saved hundreds. Just had to purchase a soldering iron. The DIY posted might look a little overwhelming, but it is not nearly as difficult as it looks. I was really skeptical to try it, mostly in fear of not being able to re-assemble afterwards, but it worked out fine.
