Smile Hello to all and also a question.

Hello everyone and thanks to all for creating what I feel to be an outstanding site that is both very informative and funny as hell sometimes. I am a newbie who's had their RX8 for about 3 weeks now and love it more everyday.
Now for the question. I've tried to read most of the posts concerning shop manuals for these cars and I myself have already ordered & received a cd with all of the Mazda Shop manuals and guides. I enjoy working on cars and one of the first things I usually do is get a Haynes or similar manual after starting on a new project. I was amazed at not being able to find any kind of those manuals concerning the RX8, even though there were many on the RX7. Does anyone know the reason why there has not been one put together even though the RX8 has been out for more than a couple of years? Just curious, and thanks again for all the great information here!

Welcome!

The internet has probably killed the demand for the shop manual, and the fact that it is not a very common car. Since we can get a CD version of the Mazda shop manual for cheap on EBAY, very few people would fork out about $25 for a Haynes manual, therefore it doesn't get printed.

Supply and Demand in a (mostly) capitalist world...

You might be able to get a supply guide, on disk from your Mazda supply shop - it has break out of all the parts and where they go and how much they cost...
A lot of things like the generator are sort of typical Mazda, but the electronics are a diabolical Ninja plot!
