Does the MAzda dealer have to do the TSB for free?
Also what about getting an upgrade for the navi?

Upgrades you pay for. TSB's are usually done at the dealers discretion and they shouldn't charge you. Some may take more convincing than others.

I'm still trying to convince the dealer to fix my sqeaky brakes. I've taken the TSB in twice but still no fix. I'm just going to upgrade pads myself and see if that helps.

on that vin - all recalls have been performed. looks like you are up to date unless you are having a specific issue. they'll need to verify hard starts before giving you the new starter.

ps. i removed that vin from public view- its not wise to post it in public

I just got my brakes fixed today.

I printed the copy of the Brakes TSB to the dealer today, around 8 oclock in the morning I think. At first, one of the tech was like "what is this? we dont take these kind of stuff ..."

After I mention its actually from Mazda he was like

"Oh .... this is just the same as the old Service Bulletin except that you have to put some greeze on it ... where you get this from ?(talking about the TSB print out) we dont even have this yet ..."

Again I said I got it from Mazda. So he put it down, I left the car.

Front pads and caplier replaced couple hours later.

^damn you! lol. Yeah I'm actually gonna try another Mazda dealership. A little birdie told me they'd honor that TSB, just bring it in with me. Keep me updated if you have any issues(squeal) please. I may not get mine done for a few more weeks.

Caliper replaced? Did you have problems with one? Isn't that TSB just pads, shims and grease?
