go in the trunk, there is a tow hook where the jack is. On the front black plastic grill on the passanger side there is a fake part in the shape of a square, it is very hard to see. Use pliers to pull this part out, then screw the tow hook into the reinforcement bar.

Now you have a tow hook

so are you trying to go forward or backward? try clearing some of that snow behind you and go in reverse with someone pushing from the front.

In your front grill you will find in the upper right had corner a squar piece that can be pulled out with pliers or pried out with a knife. This is where the front hook attaches.

The manual (Page 7-26) shows where to install the tow hook (aka tie down). Obviously you'll need to do so in the front. Then you can attach a come-along, or a tow cable from another vehicle. Be sure to block your wheels until you get ready to tow it out!!!

Dude, if its really that bad, just shovel your driveway completely, back it into the street, shovel your driveway again, lay down some salt+sand and drive it back up.

It's been awhile and I don't have my manual on me. But it's a "Tie down" not a tow hook.... those are 2 different things...

I'd be careful yanking on the Tie Down.. anybody got that video were the a guy tears off the rear of his car trying to tow his car using a tie down hook?

LOL.. found it..

ahh... the good o'l days.

The shocks are cheap in the 8.

Replace both of them. Actually now is a good time to get coilovers like Konis.

Thats why I don't let the 8 leave the garage from Nov till first few rains.. That and I don't need to brake the front bumper on a chunk of ice.. heh
