hahah thanks for the feedback guys!
and yeah, I'm getting the hang of manual..thank goodness
and the camaro was only in there temporarily...LOL it was my previous car
and even though it was american muscle...I honestly LOVE the rx-8 compared to that thing
and...that spot is usually reserved for my mom's car =/

WRONG.
it goes
clutch in, gas off, change gear, clutch out, gas in.
if you let off the gas first, you are bogging down the engine. it is a bad habit to get into and will dramatically show its ugly face if you start doing any racing.
congrats huyna, and dont let the big boys scare ya. of course we all respect swoope, mysql, zoom, rotarygod, mazdamaniac, etc. but they are just people. nothing says you cant learn as much as they have.

wow,
if you can find out who put in the rear gear in, they have some stuff to answer to.
i mean really, i would attack that..
btw, as above.. learn how to let the clutch out with out touching the throttle.. then learn how to shift without using it.. up and down..
this is a practice over time.. not days months, but years.. as you learn one move on to the next. as it costs a lot if you move to fast..
beers

OH and on another note. one of my friends took me in his SI to show me how he does it, and compared to me, he's like initial d -__- lol not really, but he taught me about revmatching, downshifting, and just answered a lot of really random questions. AND! he used to be like...a complete honda fanboy. he never even gave the rx8 a chance...so i couldn't resist. i let him try out the rx8 partially because i want to know how the car drives with a way better driver, and also to let him have some evidence behind his late. low and behold, he came out actually loving the response time and handling...no more hate
