Hey Though I walk through the Valley...
Yes indeed bretheren (and sisteren), I did it !!! Just got back from the MAZDA dealer in Huntington Beach. Purchased a beautiful black base model 6 speed RX-8. Just got her home. Had 10 miles when I got her. Could not be happier if I was twins 
Thanks for all the information and supportive comments. I thoroughly researched this vehicle, and believe it was the best of all worlds (sport, performance, looks, and 4 door 4 seater) for me. Also, got my price for the trade in, and got the car for $100.00 over invoice.
This web site was invaluable in helping me with this important decision. I now look forward to contributing actual information to help out other potential owners with their decisions.
