No other mods planned unless they are required (grounding upgrades, wrapping the AC in some sort of thermal blanket to keep it cool)

This is not a joke. After your break in period . . . Drive it like you stole it. These engines are meant to be run. Carbon build up is an issue you need to take care of regularly. (redline)
I am not the expert, so ask around. But every rotary mechanic I have spoken to tells me to drive it hard now and then.
Oh . . if you do not have the screens to protect the radiator and other front end, low hanging. expensive parts . . . get some
Other than that . . . Just enjoy the car.

Welcome and congrats, I just bought an 8 a few weeks ago. It was also my first new car. Have fun driving around the bay area, I hear the weather there is bliss, traffic not so much.
