Yes! I hide my Gasoline in the Gas tank, I hide my oil in the engine. And I hide my sunglasses in the headliner.

There is that place where you open to the trunk from the backseat. You could put stuff there. It would be easy for the cops but if you're just looking for a little out of the way place to put something while you're at the beach etc... then it might be good.

Or look at stashing stuff up under the speakers.... and they are right the dog will find it for sure there. Other than that I would recommend using the center storage console in the back seat and lock it. In order for a police officer to search the trunk of your car or a locked compartment they either need to have real good reason (like a spliff in the ashtray) or a search warrant. Unless of course you're enough of an idiot to give them permission to do it.

The sunglasses holder up by the map lights is perfect for storing my trusty little one hitter box.
I know the dogs will find it but I wouldn't let the cops get that far before I fess up.
But for a quick scan over by the cops or others it seems to be a fine place to store it.

What he said, hot pepper on your shoes if you think you will run into anything, not that I used to travel from Tennessee to Texas to Tennessee trafficing anything.

Great!! A 21 year old kid driving an Rx8 and looking for a place to hide drugs in the car. Just what I want on the road while I'm driving. Common sense simply is not all that common.

Maybe he just wants to know how to get his stash from point A to point B and doesn't use any while driving? Just my guess. I don't think it would be any different for you than it has been for the last 35 years...

I found a neat hiding space: the backside of the front seatbacks have a zipper that opens into the area into the seatback frame. There's a lot of room for all kinds of contraband between the metal frames and cushions.

why hide things, you're driving a blockade runner, just make a run for it when you see the lights...they prolly wont be able to keep up...(sarcasm)

what are you doing thats drawing the attention of the cops to the point that you need a hiding place just in case, if you dont want to be stopped dont be suspicious if i was carrying contraband id be driving the speed limit, trust me cops won't pay attention to a law abiding car, they need cause...

btw if your trying to get a rise out of anybody e.g.: "look how cool i am, i run drugs, i'll be coy about asking about hiding spots" thats really dumb and i hope they catch you

Might be sooner than you think, my company has talked of relocating me to Monterey. I'm thinking of going that way this summer and driving up the coast to Vancouver, not that I'll be hiding anything in my trunk or anything.
Nobody smokes in my car.
