highest amount of miles on RX-8

Hi all:https://www.rx8club.com/newthread.php?do=newthread&f=3

I would like to know on this forum the highest amount of miles on an RX-8. Also, during this time, have there been any major problems?

Thanks in advance for any input

I know of a few people that are right at or over 50K miles on the cars, with no major problems, they have posted about it.

although im not sure what the highest miliage car is, I would think it would be one of Mazdas test RX8s that they drive around or one in japan as they came out there first....but us americans do drive a lot, so who knows.

Id try a search for 50k miles or 60k miles and see what threads you can get.

I saw a thread the other day of someone who took a pic with their camera phone and it showed their RX8 hitting 50,000 on the dot. Also said didnt have any major problems with the car either. Just the regular flashes and recall work done.

i did 3500 miles in 5 days (road trip) and didnt have a single problem, though it was just after breakin (car had around 2500 miles on it) I went thru almost 4qt of oil on that road trip....lol. I only do about 800-1000 miles a month and have 10100 miles on the car now in 8 months of owning it.

Try searching...this topic has been covered many times before.

There's tons of people over 50k.

Sigh...don't know why anybody bothers posting if they aren't at least over 50k.

Anyways, to the original poster, here's what you're looking for:
