lol, is this in the minnesota area? That's funny because this car is actually about 10 minutes from my house at a small dealership and i saw it while i was driving by a week ago. The thing is hideous and i cannot stand all the mazdaspeed decals. And i'm pretty sure it's a knock-off mazdaspeed kit...

 

So, after painting the car with a Porsche 930 color, what is the hp gain? It has gatta be huge!

 

I actually like it when exotic cars (or even semi-exotic cars like the RX-8) are painted in these kinds of colors. I love the Lambos in that lime green color. These kind of cars scream out for wild colors. I'm not sure that I would actually have my RX-8 in that color, but I do think it's cool and different.

The tiny little stock exhaust poking out of the huge rear bumper kind of makes me want to cry. Maybe he sold off those parts separate... I hope.

Its a good buy if it a 100%Mazdaspeed an not knock off. but you gotta take those decals off an paint it...Hell I'd buy it can't beat the miles & price is fair and well it is already kitted 1/8 of the work is done again DAMN that paint tho

a little off topic, but here goes -

RX8 colors:

Lots of websites sites, like Tire Rack, Mazda home website, etc. have car color tools so you can choose from stock colors, and make a car that color.

Can a software tool be made so that forum users could color an RX8 ANY color from the microsoft palatte, i.e. thousands of colors? Might be a fun toy to play with, and what better place to house such a device than this website?

Back on thread - the green was ok and I don't mind people getting creative, but there is another green I think I would have liked better - more like the GT3 green from a year or so back, more of a leaf green. Not sure I could live with the kermit color -

 

We all know that Nordic Green Mica is the only Green that fits with the 8

 

I don't think any software tool will bring out the right color in real life because of the effect daylight has on colors. I could be wrong, since my basic tool of art is Microsoft Paint.

I want a neon blue RX-8, that'd be ridonkulous.

 

It's not too bad, I'd probably buy, depending on what the paint looks like close up.

 

Yes it is, sadly it was on ebay some time ago when I had my other blue one up, I think it got a few bids but nothing serious. That car will be a very hard sell. lol

 

like someone said before.....I'd rock it for a racecar, of course make a few suggested changes and thro some more stickers on it for added performance. but ya, wouldn't ever purchase it unless it was one heck of a steal.
