Question Hood help or question?

I was doing 60mph on the freeway last night when my hood jumped up? I dont get it but I think its not lined up right. Then on the way home it happen one more time. So should I take it to the dealer an have them look at it? or do you think I should do a DIY?

Jumped up or flew up, maybe you just didn't close it properly enough. Maybe jammed hook fail to lock your hood down???

Ehhhh, just take it off. It's only extra weight, and make it harder to check the oil.

Why not take it to the dealership? It could be a major problem and something worse could happen. I don't get these people that try to do everything to their car's on their own. It makes no sense. Just take it in. It would take an hour tops and the problem would be fixed under warranty.

check to make sure it is close all the way. happened to me when i had my kit put on. They took off a screw when they took off my ram air duct (which locked the hood hinge). They forgot to screw it back on and the hood would not close all the way. the hood hinge would move up and down instead of clamping the hood down.
