Hood Vent Examples

From Sevenstock 2016. There are lots of purchased carbon hoods, but I tried getting some pictures of cooler/better designs. Allot of them are just for venting, but a few are ducted. This is just to give a few examples, sorry there weren't more Rx8 vents but most people don't cut holes in their hood or bodywork.

I can't see this flowing allot, the holes are very small, but it probably helps a tiny tiny bit.

The two outermost ones are ducted right on top of the oil coolers, the center one is not ducted, but help air through the radiator, the ones at the rear are to relieve pressure (IDK, but apparently the hood would flex at speed). This is one of my favorites.

This was a vendors car after an engine fire on the passengers side. The black strip behind at the top cutout is just a banner in the background.

These were probably my favorite. They look really clean from the outside and half decent from the inside.

It's tough to choose between the RE Amemiya and the Varis, both are very cool and the paint work make them outstanding.

Imagine Sonics with hedgehogs painted on the vents.

It's a spare oem hood that I cut up all diy style, the 'vent' is a sheet of aluminum that's cut and powder coated. The cuts are 1" hexagons that you can twist along their axis.
