How did my RX-8 get to the U.S.?
As a proud father of an RX-8, I'm interested if anyone has pictures of the Hiroshima Mazda RX-8 factory area, and knows what waterways the ships took to bring the RX-8 to the United States. Then, what U.S. port did they go to before transfer to the dealership? It would be fun to see where my car has been before it met me! Were the engines and car made under one roof, or are there two separate facilities for each?

there are pics on here of the first rx-8 rolling of the assembly line at teh official ceremony. the ships came across the pacific and landed in washington, california and florida after a trip thru panama. search for posts by 3rotor for a link to a vid of the cars off loading from the first shipment to off load at the Port of Tacoma. there are several inland "ports" where cars went before they were sent out to dealers. being in OK yours probably went thru Port Midlothian, Texas. search posts from ibfubar2000 and budaman who were helping people track where their cars were during the pre-order. there are pics of the cars at midlothian.
