I just bought a 2004 8 with navi and I don't know how to cancel a trip.

Example: You set a destination, and then decide you don't wanna go there anymore and you just want to cancel it.

Anyone? I don't have a manual. And the one I can download doesn't have the navigation in there (I don't think).

I 'm not in my car....but I think you just push the joystick down, and click 'Delete'....I can't remember what the exact word is, but it's the bottom selection when you click the joystick down

 

yes, when navi is tracking you, just push down on the joystick. a menu will come up, delete link is near the bottom.

 

On my 06 you can click menu, destination entry, cancle guidance.

 

I just ....... don't drive to the destination.

 

bad solution. The car remembers the target location and will keep telling you directions even after you shut off the car, then come back. And every few seconds if you're not on track, it will tell you to make turns.

 

u guys were right. just hit enter on the map screen. i also found out that if you hold voice button down (or maybe menu_ u can adjust brightness levels
