Plan what you want the focus of the car to be, decide on your purchases, set budgets, and stick to it. You can't have your cake and eat it, too. Body kits and subwoofers do not a performance car make.

lol to the guys making fun of me and saying how i should go get a real job .......... well thats why im going to college full time, I mean I know it won't always be like this but at 22 Making that much isn't so bad around here while i go to school, Im actually getting a masters =[ the thing Is I get a lot of grants and scholarships that normally pays for school (at the moment at least) and I know it won't always be that way
, The drugs thing was a joke, I could do it yeah, but its just kind of shady from what i've seen (my brother is a major pothead, his best friend was a dealer in our town, and my cousin has been dealing since he was 18 and he's 26 now) thats all the small stuff though lol im not talking about the other type of drug dealers.
I mean I know what I have to do, I just hate waiting and saving up like 5g's, plus you have to remember i want to do all this stuff and i JUST bought the car ........ and still making $400 a month payments =/

count yourself lucky if you have enough scholarships to pay for college... some of us have loans well into the 5-figure range on top of rent, car payments, insurance, etc... that's why the 60k job comment kind of made me laugh.. ain't nowhere near enough to have money to mod a car

The best plan I have had so far is to
- Spec out a car and configuration you want
- Buy car - and all mods all at once (say your budget is 70K...)
- Then fix all the little things you break as time goes on.
IMO - the 8 is wayyyyy more fun to mod since I am working off a budget of money already gone out of my accounts (so to speak); no buyers remorse or saving up.
My other cars were more long term which was OK; but to be honest I didn't really get to feel the impact of my "dream" car all at once. I knew I loved the 8 my wife found for me; but the HP was going to be a prob; so I just fixed it right off the bat before I even drove it.
I have never even DRIVEN a NA rotary in my life; but I don't think I really need to.

Seriously I was laughing the other day with this car, because I've had it for a certain amount of time, and theres so much that I want to do with the car, I have like a list full of stuff i want to add to the car, but don't have that much money to do it all at once haha. I could probably create a song out of it all, but the thing is, even without a bunch of stuff added on, I really love this car, I don't think theres another car I would take under 50k over this one
I dont know thats my rant for the day, lol I don't know how you guys can keep up if you have gf's/wives. I mean just the other day I spent $250 on little stuff (Clear Corners, Custom LED footwells, and puddle lights), and you know i have my eyes set on new rims and tires, a new exhaust, a body kit, coilovers, sway bars, a nav system, and the final piece, The turbo ......................
I'm gonna need to start selling drugs or something to afford what i want =[

no wonder I couldn't find it using the search option. Thought it was just our retarded search engine not doing it's job again.
