Perfect for outside temps below 50 degrees and very comforting to aging spines...
at 55 and above - too warm for me, but mom (world's oldest rotor head) luxurates in them up to about 60 degrees - and they take out some of her stiffness. Heaters work well also..

and i thought the tem control has a affect on how hot the seatwarmer gets as it seem to be hotter when the temp control is set to high...
maybe its just in my head...

I just shat myself
Meh, they're warm enough..
They seem to take a while to warm up when it's about 40.. But usually when they fully kick in the seat becomes warm enough to my tastes so I turn them off..
I really wish the heat went farther up towards my shoulders, that'd be dandy..

Apparently, something is wrong with mine... They barely get warmer than just normal body heat. Reading about all of your toasty asses kinda ticks me off!
I would love to know if this is something I could adjust or just maybe swap out the thermostat, thermometer or something. I want toasty buns, too, dammit!

Ha, I keep resting my arm on the console and flipping the switches by accident ... then in a minute wonder what the hell? I rarely use them but good to know they're there when needed.

PLEASE stop saying the heater control affects the seats!
It doesn't, no matter how many times you say it.
The wiring diagram shows exactly how it works, and your 'guesses' don't make the wires go anywhere near the heater control.

sounds to me like the thermostats are working differently depending on the car. My old rx8 heaters got warm enough to notice, but don't compare heat wise to other seat heaters I've been in. Plenty to do the job, but by no means hot. No complaints on them though. Makes me wish I had gotten the Mazdaspee6 GT model, because I miss those babies in the winter.

I rented -- get this gang -- a Chevy HHR last week when I was up in NJ. Don't laugh at the GM product. For one thing it had a pretty impressive leather job on the seats to begin with. In addition, it had awesome seat heaters. Chick I was traveling with was over there moaning, and talking about how great her back felt. I was impressed. Now how do I get the seats in my 8 hot enough to make a chick start moaning?
