Mine melted/split today on the way home from work. I felt like a tool driving around with the stupid thing flapping in my face. I'll take it off tonight and call the dealer in the morning. Dang it. At least I'd read the million posts about other people's visor issues and was prepared.

My visor just broke on my brand new RX8!!
I'm pretty livid myself about this. I've had it on order for over 2 weeks now. I'm a former Honda Prelude lvr and if they still made new ones, I'd be all over it. I never had trouble with getting that fixed. In fact, hardly anything ever broke on the 2 I had. I'm in Buffalo and there is another dealer I'm gonna try if anything else goes on the RX. I never had bad service at Honda.

I didn't have time to wait around on hold to find out. It sucks that it took out your radio and everything, though. Fortunately the only thing wrong with mine is that it broke.

It's called cannibalizing. They really frown on doing that here at work. Imagine if someone stopped to test drive that Shinka and something was already broken. Definitely get a sale on that one.

Well, they didn't arrive that day and since I already had my appointment they went and pulled them out of the Shinka on the showroom floor and would then replace them with mine when they came in. ![Rofl](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
