then you have to ride like you are playing a giant video game.... the name of the game is they are all trying to kill you.

I currently ride a Yamaha FZ6, but I'm probably going to sell it to help pay for my new RX-8.
So, so true. You have to assume that every car on the road is going to try to kill you -- which is why I'm not going to miss it that badly. It seems that lately, every time I take my bike out, I narrowly avoid death or serious injury.
So the RX-8 is going to fill my need for speed from now on.

There wasn't a Sunday race. A couple of years ago they moved the 200 to Saturday just in case of rain, then they still have Sunday to run the race. Too many working folk fly home Sunday night/Monday morning.

I'm ok with people who never got into motorcycling or leave it because they simply are not true enthusiasts. But, I hate hearing "I left motorcycling or I'll never try it because it is too dangerous." Most of us are more likely to know somebody that died in a car accident then a motorcycle accident, but people never give up driving as a result. Every year I take up competitive trail riding, track days or track schools to stay sharp, and I actually feel just as safe on a bike as I do in my car. Point is, if you're half-assed about motorcycling you'll never feel safe, but IT IS absolutely safe in the hands of seasoned and well trained riders.
Plus, I find that skilled motorcyclists are better drivers.

Yea i find that once i started riding i noticed how shitty car drivers can be. But in turn it made me a better driver because i look out for bikers, becuase nothing better than when a mini van mom pulls in front of you and says i didnt see you>!

I ride a 2003 Harley XL1200C - and I LOVE it! I would really like a Fat Boy, but I'm just physically too small to handle a bike that size in downtown traffic, so I'll have to stick with my Sporty I guess - anybody going to Sturgis this year?
