How many owners has your car seen?
A thought occurred to me this morning... I wonder how many current RX-8 owners are the first owner of their car.
Put another way:
How many owners has your RX-8 had?
My own answer is a little tough since I'm the first and fourth owner but I'm guessing that this is an incredibly rare case (possibly even unique given the low volume of the car).

Original owner.
Next month will be 12 years since I picked up my RX-8. It had less than 2 miles on it when I took delivery.
NotaPreppie: oh, and I think RIWWP also did something similar to you. Didn't he buy back his own car years later?

Water Foul
Yeah, he special ordered it at a dealership in Alabama. It was supposedly one of the last six shipped to the US. He drove it for a few thousand miles, then traded it on a Porsche. (Who knew they have Porsche dealers in Alabama?!). They transferred it to Park Place Porsche, where a teacher bought it. A few thousand miles later, he found out his wife was pregnant, and he put it up for private sale. He eventually let me steal it from him, after receiving no serious offers for three months. I have all of the documentation for the history of the car in my filing cabinet. I wonder if I could eBay the bill of sale with Saban's signature on it? Probably not, since it's an 8. :p

Yep not many people can afford to put fuel in them over in the UK so people don't keep them long guy i got it from had it a year, he was 22 years old done about 600 mile in it and couldn't afford insurance and fuel haha. Fuel over in USA is peanuts in comparison i couldn't believe how cheap it was to fill my rental car while I in the states.

max speed is 70 mph?
sad.
I usually set my cruise control at about 75 every morning.
Pretty cool to hear the stories of everyone's cars. Keep them coming...

The first owner is a neurologist, I met up with the second owner and got it from him. Don't exactly know what he does, LOL.
You think that's sad?
In BC, Canada, speed limits on most highways are 50~55 MPH. There is one or two highways where it's 70 MPH, but the ones I drive on, I couldn't maintain 70 MPH on a highway without risking getting pulled over.
In general, BC speed limits are too low so cops can cash in on innocent people. Sounds like a conspiracy, but there is a dude who made a video with a scientific view on the speed limits. There are some roads that are just massive speed traps.
