Nice collections some of you have had..phew!
All I've ever owned are mazdas 3 rotarys
86 RX7 GXL/ 86 RX7 SE/ 2004 GT Rx8
&
90 miata / 95 miata

sad thing is im going to sell the 8 soon and not sure which direction to go....... gotta account for the kid but I refuse to go all suburbia status with my cars. I love the 8 but its higher miliage, gas econ, smaller space, worries me. anyways nice to know that somewhere we have probably passed a car onto one another

I'm only on my second rotary. But the first is the direct reason I have the second.

'80 RX-7, purchased late '79.

'07 RX-8, purchased March '07.

I bought my first Rotary back in 1982, but haven't owned a lot, but have owned them for a long time.

1) 1975 RX2 coupe, first car I ever bought back in 1982 and sold just a couple of years ago.
2) 1991 Cosmo 20B, my father bought this and then sold it a few years later to my father in law, and is still in the family today.
3) 1971 13B Rotary powered VW Beach buggy, still owned today
4) Cobra Arrow RX8 engined plane, built by my father, and still in the family today.
5) 2004 RX8 JDM 6 speed, bought a couple of years ago, and still owned today.

Lots of fun these machines.

This my first personally owned rotary. But my grew up with them in the family. My step mom had a 79 RX7 which I used to get my drivers license. My dad had a FC TII. My brother has a FD he bought new. He also had an RX8 and RX2.

Have owned:
1985 RX-7 GS -> DD for two years until it was crushed when a Chevy Celebrity rear-ended it hard.

Still own, in order I bought them:
1985 RX-7 S, red - first rotary, bought 1994, turned into first race car 1998. It's damaged and rusting in the barnyard.
1993 RX-7 R1, Competition Yellow Mica - "Purest of the Pure." Most beautiful car ever. Garage queen.
1993 RX-7 Touring, Red - "Beater FD" dd until it sprung a radiator leak. For sale cheap.
1985 RX-7 S, New Holland tractor blue - Current Spec RX-7 race car.
2005 RX-8 Base - Current track **** and daily driver.

I have a few other first-gen RX-7s in the barnyard for parts.

There will always be a Mazda rotary in my life. Ich bin ein "rotard".

So jealous of the lists some of you have, but at least it makes me feel a little bit better about not being too crazy.
Currently in the garage:
My 04 RX8 (owned for 8 years this past Sunday.)
86 (well, most of the chassis is) FC track car.
88 Convertible project car that recently followed us home

90 GXL parked around the side of the garage for parts.

2 Rotaries so far...

1982 white GSL- mild tuning (yaw carb and RB exhaust)

2007 silver 6 SPD MT RX-8 bone stock but due for some modding!! (when I can afford it)
(BHR midpipe, BHR ignition, RB cat back, rebuilt and street ported engine, MM tune, 4.777 final drive, Masdaspeed shocks, RPF1 17"x9"s) hoping for 210 wheel HP (maybe in vain)

and or maybe just a turbo?

(one of these days I'm going to get my hands on an FD)

My uncle bought me an 87gxl for my first car I loved it. Believe it or not it had a back seat. I had it til 190xxx. Then sold the back seat for more than the car.

Just my current 8, but I am shopping now for a decent FD. Hopefully by summer. My only issue is garage space. Couldn't bear to keep either outside
