how to mess up tint.
Ok, so basically the tint job on my car sucks dick. There is a small hole in the driver side door, and on the passenger side, the tint doesn't line up. is there any way to make the tint bubble up or sabotage it? The lifetime warranty says either 35 or 55% depending on how you read it but I think its supposed to say 55. So I figure, i can make it look more like a 35 to get a free, darker, better tint job. I just need to know how to screw it up. I know this sounds dick, but the company did a shitty job in the first place...

IF the company did a bad job, why didn't you complain when taking delivery? Nonetheless, take it back to the shop that did the tints and show them the problems. If they are a reputable shop, they will take care of the issues.

I bought the car last week tinted. I dont know if the company would take kindly to a 16 year old 5'7 kid telling them they did a bad job. Im no scared kid but i just dont think they would re-do it, you know? It needs to be bubbled up. Im thinking of peeling a little bit back and pouring some water down it on a hot day or take a hairdryer, and make the water bubble **** up.

Since you bought the car with the windows already tinted, the lifetime warranty might be only for the person that purchased the window tinting, and not transfered to you, the new owner. You have to look into the fine prints of the warranty.

Its kind of a dissapointment to see you putting all 16 year old eight owners to shame. If they screwed up, confront them, but everyone else already told you that so if you dont want to listen then i guess have fun screwing up your tint job so that they *might* replace it for you.

well, by tone i think [i know] that he is referring to your word choice!
instead of you trying to have us convince yourself to walk up in the shop to fix your tint, why not skip the whole convincing process and call them or go there physically and ask... if anything they say no, then oh well.

Seriously though, just go to the tint shop with the certificate and tell them what's up. Pretty much a yes or no situation whether or not they'll fix it. Dont **** up the tint on your own if you dont know if the warranty is transferable.
