How much over sticker are your local dealers talking?

I worked prepping new cars at a Jeep/Eagle dealership a while back. It's those things they do that make me nervous.
I think I'll ask them for a checklist of what exactly they plan on doing, and scratch off the stuff I don't need. Programming the stereo is one thing, as is charging the AC or filling the window washer resivoir. Punching holes in my sheet metal for their advertising, and adding 50 lbs. of unneeded rustproofing is something else. And my car will not be cleaned with their materials, or in their (cringe) car wash, or they will be ordering me a new one, and keeping mine for the sales floor.
Liability is no excuse for taking advantage of a customer with unneeded extra "treatments" (i.e. Scotchguard). Safety check, yes. Programming required things, yes. Peeling off the wrapping paper and detailing the car or trying to sell me extra stuff, no...

yes that is what warranties are for, but if you plan on modding your car, than that wil lmost probably void the warranty. i dont plean on modding my 8 untill i have learned to drive it properly...but i am sure that will be within the 3 years of the warranty...thats why i would rather wait until the 2nd or 3rd batch of cars arrive to get mine
