How often do you see 8's on the road?

I live in Northern Louisiana and RX8's are a rare commodity. I see way more Z's and Infiniti G35 Coupes than RX8's. I can probably count the # of RX8's on two hands that are in this area. Fo sho there are three blue ones in town. One on a dealer's lot, another one driven by a young caucasian male and then there is mine. I kinda like the exclusivety.

In the 6 months I've owned my car I've had three sightings where I live in the Corning/Elmira/Ithaca/Watkins-Glen area all different colors so all different cars, only seen once each and none of them blue. There is a VR at the local Simmons-Rockwell dealership, but it seems tragically overpriced.
I don't have a strong preference to either be unique or have many RX-8 brothers and sisters nearby. I do take some satisfaction in being unique, but that also means no local RX-8 club chapter or meets.

I see an RX-8 about once or twice a week here in LA/OC. I think its an added benefit of owning one as they are really so inexpensive for the amount of car we get.
On the other hand, I probably see dozens of G35s, 3 series BMWs, WRX/EVOs every week.

Not many around here in Birmingham, AL. However, I am seeing more over the past 3 weeks. I was so proud to be the only one driving a blue 8, then to my horror, saw another one on the interstate last week. They didnt even wave. Oh well.........

I see the same 2 8's a Winning Blue and a yellow one.... Both AT because I talked to them, and I could also see the Manumatic shifters on the steering wheel.... Not that there's anything wrong with having a AT.... I agree with RX8 ZOOM ZOOM, nothing like an 8 driver/ RX-8......

Not that many here in the Conroe, Texas area. However, one of my stepdaughter's friends just got a red one, with automatic of course, for her 16th bday!!
I see a lot more Mustang GT's than RX 8s,which is one of the reasons why I bought the 8!!

On my daily drive, I will usually see 1 maybe two going each way, but in the parking lot, I think we are up over a dozen now. Large company so they are spread out, but it is not uncommon for four or five of us to park near each other. Still no where near the number of 350z's, G35's (sedan and coupe) and STi's that I see on a daily basis, so that makes me feel better.

Hey now, don't be bashing on automatics, i got one, i'm a male, and the reason being is cause i have a bad knee that hurts too bad when with constant pushing of a clutch...automatic is still good to go in my book!

Up here near Buffalo I've seen a Winning Blue a few times (lives nearby). Other than that I hardly ever see them. Coming home from work one day I was determined to spot an 8, I was looking like crazy, spotting nothing at all until I was getting off the highway a few blocks from my house and finally spotted a Titanium Gray, so that made my day. (I know I'm easy to please!)

I live in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis/St. Paul), and have only seen one 8 in the 5 months I've had mine. It could be because its winter. However, I do see atleast 5 350Z's everyday, even more Sti's, and Evo's are like a cavalier up here. I could never justify the 37 g's on a car I see at every stop light.
