Huge compliment this morning

I was in downtown having breakfast with my family. We were enjoying our breakfast and i was lucky enough to have parked on the street and I could see my car from our table.

Sitting there chatting it up and take a look outside a couple walks by my car and starts staring, then the guy busts out an camera and starts taking pics

Made everyone stop talking and look at the people taking pics of my car, it was coo!

A lot of silver rx8s seem to get into accidents.

Cleoent has a titanium gray, I don't think he has to worry about that superstition (or is it still a superstition?).

Search the forums for 'silver curse'....you'll find a lot, for some reason or another. Some say the silver color blends in with road areas and is not as conspicuous to the eye as other colors are. But you'll be alright, lol

Best ride, but the most maitenance puts her down there

I actually did kind of get jacked already in my car. I was cruising down the freeway a few weeks ago when randomly these punk *** kids in an avalon doing 110 passed me up and then disposed of their glass bottle out their window, crashed right in front of my car and gouged my paint down to metal on the fenders, and down to bare ABS on the bumpers. Yay.

Key word (if you didn't notice): AVALON
Meaning: Why the hell didn't you chase those bitches down and left your lug key imprinted on their foreheads.

The only curse we Titanium Gray owners have is that we are cursed with the best looking color. Oh, and its the fastest color too.

I've also heard that Ti-Gray owners are smarter and better looking.

The car is a peice of art - people who have an appreciation for beauty want to interact with it - compliment it, record it, touch it. They don't even need to own it, because by just viewing it, or hearing it, they are enriched. They can enjoy visits to museums, appreciate sunset, enjoy seeing a girl in a bikini, laugh with an old lady, enjoy and appreciated fine engineering where ever it occurs.

Some people are so self enclosed that they can only envy, and find that exposure to beauty only seems to make what they own, and who they are, more ugly. They are gratified only by their ability to make beauty cease, and they are the reason that galleries must place classical paintings in glass cases and mothers must protect pretty children. It is why some one would key a classic car.

Mazda sent me some touch up paint about a month after I bought the car. It looks like actual factory paint. I thought this was overdoing it at the time because most cars start to rust before you notice the scratches. In your case it might be useful since the front plastic scratches without notice, and the hood is aluminum and wont rust. If you didnt get a care package, you might want to call you dealer (or Mazda) and ask for one!

I would not advise that, now-a-days these punks are packing. IMO it not worth getting shot or even killed over. Our society has really gone down the chitter.
