Boy one poster on the first page really needs to get a grip and watch the mouth.
Try Lube Control FP60, supposedly it cleans injectors fuel system, increases MPG and limits carbon build up in the rotary.

Never ever ever hit your brakes. Keep your distance from people in front of you...and I MEAN distance! Doing this eliminates most braking situations where you have to slow down so you don't rear-end them while they're making a turn.
Build up your speed downhill. You can keep a steady pressure going back up hill, but NEVER ACCELERATE up a hill!
Downshift properly until you actually have to hit your brakes to stop.
Accelerate from a stop sharply, but don't floor it. Shift at the factory recommended speed intervals.
Don't let the engine bog down. If you're going uphill, downshift! Don't accelerate, but don't let the poor thing stall out! Bogging is worse for your car and gas mileage than letting it rev just a tad higher.
Keeping your windows up is a good thing to do. This is because you want to cut the cleanest bubble in the air. Using your A/C above 50mph is actually more fuel efficient than opening the windows. But below 45mph, keep the A/C off. The ideal thing to do is not run it at all.
No lights, no excessive stereo, no blower fan, no sat-nav, nothing that uses power. The radio is fine, but don't blast it.
You have to think. Thinking is your best friend. You have to think about if the person ahead of you is going to stop, if you need to get over into another lane. Turns coming up, hills, stop signs, etc.
EDIT: Oh, and don't pop it into neutral to coast. As you've been told, keep it in gear.
