I am still amazed
I've only had my car for about 2 1/2 months (2500 miles), but I am amazed at the handling of the Rx8. I have owned 2 RX7's and 2 Miata's along with a host of other sports cars, but none with the poise and awsome handling of this car. I do think part of it for me is that I haven't owned a car with DSC and Traction control. But aside from that it is still a car with excellent handling.

ALSO AGREE WITH GREAT HANDLING. I especially love the elecric power steering. Think others will follow the same way. So easy when slow, but so much feel and response.
Got 5500 miles on my 8 now. Over Easter when on a drive inNorthern Georgia. Many 15-25 marked back to back turns. LOVED IT. (Darn wife started getting tired of the right left slams and had to slow down!)

I think one of the main reasons that this car is wonderful is and in Car and Driver is because even though it handles like a dream it it also rides fairly well, even my Cadillac dad said that. It a car that can be driven to work each day and the on the winding country road on the weekend. I can not imagine buying a more expensive car unless you need lots of storage space. It is a well rounded performance car and an exotic for the masses.

Mine's got a few problems too.
It won't stay under the speed limit and they put too many gears in mine.
It stops too fast.
I can't feel turns as much anymore.
Oh well, what can you expect for only $30k?
:D :D
