yes G8rBoy, I am a UF grad, class of 1990! I have custom UF Virginia tags that read "GR82BA" with a custom chrome license plate frame which reads "It's" on the top and "Florida Gator" at the bottom...

so it reads, "It's Great To Be A Florida Gator" when you look at it. Sweeeet.

will take a picture once my tags get transferred to the new car- have temps on it now.

- I'm still debating about snow tires- it doesn't snow here in DC much during the winter (sometimes never), my car is a lease so I do not want to shell out extra $ for tires, and there is a bus route that will take me to work during the really bad storm days-

p.s. for those who asked, I do not have a garage so there is no lighting issues there. I have noticed that the color does change but it really is never very dark- like in the catalog.

p.s.s. my tire pressure warning light has not gone off since I've had the car- I think that is due to the cold weather? my salesman said the shop said bring it in- it has to be reset? it sat idle for a while before being sold (had to be jump started).

This means one or more of your tires has low pressure, quite possibly due to the cold weather. I get one all the time when it gets cold. Check your pressure and air up the tire that's low... no reason to go to the dealership about it unless the light won't go away when the tires are aired up higher than 28 PSI.

One more things while I'm thinking about it... if you find just one tire is low, make note of which wheel it is. It's possible that the TPMS sensor on that wheel is not seated properly and allows a slow leak. If this turns out to be the case, then you DO want to take it to the dealer.

Hope this helps!

Question. How do you know it's supposed to be titanium gray? Just out of curiosity, but do you have the original window sticker that says that? Because otherwise, there's always the possibility that the dealer made a mistake in the color name. You can run a carfax report with your vin number, and get the exact information from Mazda on what it is/has, in case you don't have the original sticker.

I gotta believe

That at some point in the past 3 and a half years he or she fingered out what color the car is.

if I were to name it, I would call it "pearl blue"
I just got a Ti Gray myself a couple weeks ago. Look very closely at the paint in bright sunlight outdoors and you will see many little tiny flecks in it (gotta be up close). I had an '04 Nordic Green before (best color - of course, not made anymore). In different light that car could look black, super dark green and my favorite - dark navy blue green (only way I can describe it).

My '07 Ti Gray looks mostly pewter gray, but occasionally shows a kind of blue greenish tint. Now I live 5 houses from the beach and I suspect that it's some sort of effect of the blue green of Long Island Sound and cloud cover making it pick up that color. But those tiny flecks have different colors to me or reflect differently in different light.

So you aren't crazy :-)

Oh, by the way, I'm partly colorblind, but my wife verifies this.
