I have rejoined the cult
After several years of driving non-rotaries (bought one of the first FD's back in 92), I just took delivery of a yellow MT GT. I was torn between silver and yellow, but I really wanted a yellow when I bought my FD and couldn't find one, so I scratched that itch and got one now.
Feels nice to be driving a rotary again. :D

Welcome Back! It's hard to leave the Cult!
Rotaries are addictive. You are more involved :D than with a piston engine.
I should have sold my FC over a year ago while waiting for the 8 to come out. I still have it even though I picked up my 8 in March. It's hard to part with it.

I didn't realize how badly I missed the rotary until I got back into one again.

I test drove a bunch of cars, but the 8 just felt better than the rest.

The test drive for that was very entertaining, the salesman telling me how great it drove and me saying "but my 7 is better". :D I don't think he was very happy with me.. When the lease ran out on the M3 I went w/o a car and used the wife's; the 8 had just been announced and I decided to wait it out.

If the 7 had still been around I would have bought another one.
