well guys the update has finally come.

I filed for diversion on my original court date and after going back to court for 3 times in a row, their paperwork for me was not ready so I had to keep coming back.

Which is all a good thing, because I just went to court last tuesday and while the paperwork was not ready again, the judge informed me that the State Trooper that pulled me over was fired for harassment...go figure huh? So he said for me to call for a case of dismisall and that I just hit the jack pot because today was my lucky day.

Well I filed for dismisall and the Judge and the D.A. approved of it after having to wait for an extra 2 hours..well worth it btw.

So anyways I'm scott free, but unfortunately I do have a court next week for street racing...but anyways the 5 counts of citiations are gone, thank goodness!!

Street racing?

wth, you'd think after getting hammered with 5 citations you'd learn atleast some kind of lesson...

Just tell them you only have a 1.3.

This is what they usually nail most the street bike guys with. The going rate for getting caught doing a wheelie around here is over $1000.

From your orignal post and last one about street racing, you deserve neither your licence nor an Rx8. It's behaviour like this that increases insurance premiums for the Rx8 and generally gives the car a bad name. Owners of Rx8's should be p*ssed at this idiot, not encouraging.

I hope they take your license away and impound your car for a few months. Any idiot who gets 5 citations and then get's popped for street racing deserves no sympathy.

Maybe one day you'll grow up, but you'll most likely die in a car accident before that.

Well in all fairness the cop that gave him 5 citations war fired for harrasment and he doesn't have them on his record now...

But still to get 5 citations (even from a cop with a stick up his ***) you had to be doing somthing borderline stupid.

I would also like it to go on the record to show that he's 23, not 16 or 17 and or new driver.

This here shows that age doesn't exactly mean you're going to mature and or immature.

kthxbai, please move on to your regularly scheduled flames

You need to get off your high horse on this age crap. Wow. My comment was saying the OP is an idiot for not learning from his rather large mistakes...I couldn't give a crap how old he is

And with tires that had little tread left on them and almost wrecking it a day before that because of it, you be the judge of just how wreckless I was being.

Cops can be asshats, I don't want to go as far to say that he wasn't doing something wrong, because 5 citations obviously means he was, but with a cop like mine was, it might not have been THAT bad.

High horse nothing, I'm down on my 2 feet just like the rest of you. Just trying to "keep it real". You were the one that needed to get off your high horse and be a little more open minded about people and their age AND need to chill out, jesus. I've never seen someone get so stressed about something not even directed at them.

Just want everyone to know it's not just the 17-18 year old teenagers that cause danger on the road, everyone whines when someone young gets a sports car, it should be everyone whinig when an idiot gets a sports car.

I understand your comment, and like I said my comment wasn't directed at you, just happend to be in the same post.

firstly, probably due to your skin color.

secondly, you didnt yield to "blue" lights? Then what lights did you stop for? his red ones?

lets break it down:

Reckless Driving - thats a matter of opinion.

Improper Passing - how did u pass? on the inside shoulder?

Following Too Close - how can he tell how close you are if hes behind u?

No Turn Signals - did you make any turns?

Failure to yield to blue lights - so i guess you should get evading police and resisting arrest... and we all know assault with a deadly weapon (your car) is to follow.

BUT how long was he behind you? did he "follow" you without pulling you over after you had made a traffic infraction? why didn't he pull you over after you made a traffic infraction, just trying to get you for everything? Was he "chasing" you? I bet in court he says you were trying to ram him.

all in all I'd say you thought he was a fake cop and trying to rob/hijack you for your ride so you didnt pull over.

If this happened in Canada, Ontario...he'd have his license suspended, car imponded fot a week and a $2000 fine to pay. Second time around, its something like $10,000, & who knows when you get your car back.
