link here to car

yeah yeah I KNOW it's a flood salvage and I know I have to take his word for it...

the story goes that the original engine sucked up water and was ruined so it was replaced with an engine from a wrecker with close to the same miles.

does anyone know a good rotary specialized mechanic in the bay area that could have a look at this car? the deal is pretty damn nice except for the possibility of then engine blowing up after buying it for X reason.

no idea why it has no plates on it. it has the 6 cd in dash changer as well. solid black leather interior. I don't want red because it's a ticket magnet, but for this kinda "deal"... I could more than live with it.

There are 1million Katrna salvage car out on the market. I would run from a flood repair.

An enine is easy to replace but electrical demons are hell. If this was under water there is no tellin what shape the electrical system is in.

Bad news. Engines aren't the problem with floods. Electronics are.

This car is completely computer controlled.

As the others have said you can buy a free and clear '05 or '06 with low mileage for that much. DEFINITELY skip this one and find another 8.

It's not worth the hassle.

Don't even think about it. You have no idea the kind of issues you'll get stuck with if you buy it.
