Thumbs up I Love This Car.

Hello RX8 community. I don't post very often but I check the forums regularly. First off I'd like to thank all the people who DO post regularly with some good feedback for us rotary novices. I've had a few problems with this car since I've purchased it but thankfully the dealer fixed them for me (new engineI like @50K, 3rd gear synchro, pilot bearing, and 02 sensor), but despite the issues I've had I still love the thing.

-I like that there really isn't any vibration from the engine.
-I like the "Wrrr" sound it makes when it comes off of idle.
-I like that it's a sporty car that still has a back seat and a trunk you can use.
-The cup holders actually hold your cups. My wife's G35 on the other hand...
-I like the outside appearance, maybe not everyone's cup of joe, but I diddn't buy the car for them now did I?
-I love the transmission, I had a 5.0 mustang 5spd and SVT focus 6spd and I think I'll be spoiled for life.

Lastly there are the other RX8 (and RX7) owners I've come across. All of them so far have been really great people that for the most part seem to be knowledgeable about these vehicles and also seem to be real enthusiasts about driving. Coming out of a SVT Lightning into this car is like night and day but it's good to see the light. Happy motoring and I'll see you around.

05tworotor: glad to hear you're still lovin' this car even after the issues you've had with it.

Another happy rotary owner. I'm glad you love your car. Really funny how the RX8 is able to change people.

I'm getting all misty.

I have to agree with this man. I've had mine for a couple years and I'm still loving it as much as I did the first day I bought it.

Although, *knock on wood*, I've had 0 problems that weren't fixable by 10 minutes of work. And nothing specific to this car. It's always been some random stupid ****.
