Count me among the lovers. I couldn't be happier with the car.

Generally true, but I've definitely played a couple instruments that were hopeless. Nothing sadder than a forlorn piano that nobody wants to tune...

Smooth roads, 67 degrees, very few cars in sight, windows down...the sweet aroma of crops (and occassional cow and horse dung) in the air, and the sound of the rotary motor hitting all of its sweet spots, with the excellent headlights and gauges illuminating my field of vision.

Great handling at the apex, and a comfortable ride.

On nights like last night, it simply doesn't get any better.

What's not to love?

For a general use sports car, with a very reasonable price tag, and 2 functional rear seats, it simply doesn't get any better.

And I have yet to have ANY problems (even though it's still relatively new).

***I also picked up a bunch of incredibly fresh sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, and organically raised chicken and beef.
I love my 8 too. Had her for some time now. Been through a wreck. Had tons of service issues, recalls ect.
After all that. I'm just starting to mod my 8 and cant wait till shes all hooked up. Trying to get ready for SS9

The Irish make a little cargo plane out of what looks like metal roofing - and they always have a Priest bless it just to keep it in the air - Perhaps a good 8 has been blessed by a Buddist Priest - so that the driver can become one with the Universe!

How about being trapped behind two semi's who are tossing rocks at your brand new front bumper and you can't go anywhere because theres a guy tail gating you and both lanes are driving the same speed? So you're slowing down to avoid the rocks, but you still hear them coming...

As for Johnny Law in the Ford Crown Vic. Just take him to the twisties and he will never catch you. You do need to worry about his friend in the air though.

It's too bad that you're generally looking at prison time if you get caught after evading... our country is no fun. Trust me... I've though about taking officer stalker to teh twisteeehs but i dont have my a-team revolving plates yet anyways.

Went on a 300 mile round trip yesterday to drop off a friend at Turner Motorsport. He then followed me back home in his bimmer. Back roads the whole way.

Yup. I LOVE THIS CAR. Pulling into the driveway made me sad. Anyone need a lift??

Fanboi I may be, but, after two years of ownership, I still look forward to my morning commute in this car. Never had anything like it...

Even better than my beloved '76 'vette...

I have days where I read that the Mazdaspeed 6 and the MS 3 are faster to 60. As is the Crossfire turbo(don't ban me) and SKY Redline(31 MPG also). The MS3 irked me, give US a turbo and forget the econo box Mazda!!!

The 8 and it's RWD is just a blast to drive though. I doubt the MS3 is as much fun.

It's still a great car and never fails to bring a smile to my face. I hate gas pumps now though but hell my wife wants and FJ Cruiser and they max at 21 MPG :P
