I miss my 8
Took the 8 in to get the A/C amp replaced. I had to get a loaner since I dropped it off after work. They gave me a Mazda 6. I hate it. I cant wait for tomorrow when I get my 8 back. Driving is so boring now...4 gears? Slow "tiptronic", crappy handling...ugh..I am sure its great car, but after my 8 driving anything is just uncivilized!
Sure beats walking............

yeah it sucks that your dealership (mine aswell) gives us a mazda 6 loaner while other people get a frickin rx-8 loaner. its such crap. they should give you whatever car you have.

I was hoping for a Mazda 3... I hear they have some spunk for a small car. I used to drive a civic, so I wanted to see what a 3 was like. They are selling too fast for them to give them as loaners. Now if they had a MazdaSpeed 6, this would be an entirely different discussion.

I just dropped mine off for a new bumper. My wife was rear ended 2 months ago here in Indiana by a New JerSey Police woman. In any case this is the apointment with the body shop. I told them it was special paint but they ignored me. When I dropped it off the first time they had it all day then called to tell me they didn't have the paint. The said they would paint the bumper and put it on Monday. Monday I called and they said they would need the car to paint the bumber and get a match. I took it in and got a Dodge Neon rental. I forgot to reserve anything and this was all they had. Last time they had my car there was mud all over the carpet and big scratches in the door Jam.

My 8 is back and peace and harmony in my universe has been restored!
Also..the stock 6 stereo system blows. Based on the interface, I think it might be same system in the stock 8 (I have never heard one). Anyone who thinks the stock system sounds better than the bose system is smoking serious crack. The audio is aweful compared to the bose. I am not saying the bose cant use a few improvements, but its night and day when compared to the stock 6 system....

heh reminds me... my 2000 dakota crapped out a power steering rack and pump so I got a neon POS loaner under the extended warranty for 3 days. I put 2700 miles on it and the dealership flipped. that car was such a POS. I ran that thing into the ground and beat the crap out if it. I feel bad for whoever bought that car.
